The Grand Caravan and Avenger are Dead

For many years now Chrysler and Dodge have competed against each other with vehicles like the 200/Avenger, Grand Caravan/Town & Country, and the Charger/ 300. This may not be the best business strategy and Chrysler is finally going to fix the problem, by killing some of these vehicles. We have already seen the discontinuation of the Dodge Avenger, this allows for more sales of the 2015 Chrysler 200 a vastly improved vehicle over its predecessor. Dodge will also be losing another vehicle the Grand Caravan, because of Dodge becoming the new performance based brand this only makes sense. The Town & Country also has a higher sticker price and a better resale value, making it ideal for Chrysler. Lastly the Chrysler 300 and Dodge Charger, thank God these vehicles will continue to coexist with each other. While they do directly compete with each other they are so different of vehicles that sales are not hurt.
